Shaker rattle

Shaker rattle, baby rattle, wooden rattle.

This simple wooden rattle is a perfect first toy for your little one. Ranging from light blond to honey to cafe au lait, each rattle is a slightly different color due to the nature of the wood.

A 3/8" dowel is used to hold 3 wooden rings- 2 each 1 1/2" rings on either side of a middle ring measuring 1 3/4"- and both ends are capped securely with 1 1/2" wooden balls. The rattle measures approximately 5 1/4" to 5 1/2" in length.

We now offer a 10 ml dropper bottle of our food safe mineral oil along with our shaker rattle. This oil is the same oil that the food industry uses to maintain their food processing equipment, as well as condition wooden butcher blocks and cutting boards. We found that a thin application after each cleaning maintains the wood nicely.

Rattles have been drop tested and we are confident in their safety when used appropriately. Please, do not throw, step on, sit on, or otherwise abuse the rattle. It is made of wood and can break. If rattle is abused outside of normal infant play, do not allow an infant to use the rattle. As always, this should be only used by an infant under parental supervision.
